SFTP File Access

Partner Access

  1. Log into Portal
    1. For Production https://partner.basecommerce.com.
    2. For Sandox https://partner.basecommercesandbox.com.
  2. Click on the "Developer" tab.
  3. Click the "Show" link to collect your partner credentials.
  4. The credentials will log you into the SFTP to view folders to all Merchants listed in your portfolio.

Merchant Access

  1. Log into Portal
    1. For Production https://my.basecommerce.com. 
    2. For Sandbox https://my.basecommercesandbox.com. 
  2. Click on the "Developer" tab.
  3. Click the "Show" button to get the credentials.
  4. Using these credentials you will be able to access the SFTP for your account.

SFTP Login

  1. Open up your SFTP client.
  2. Set the server name to the following
    1. For Production : sftp.basecommerce.com
    2. For Sandbox : sftp.basecommercesandbox.com
  3. Place your unique SDK username for the username in the username field.
  4. Place your unique SDK password for the password.
  5. Use Port 8222.
  6. You can now login to your Partner's and/or Merchant's SFTP folder.
